Richard Peak was born and raised on a farm in western Missouri. After serving in the US Navy, he began a 20 year career in sales and management. Richard credits his father for suggesting that he become an auctioneer due to his ability to talk fast and loud. The rest is “history” as they say.

Peak Auctioneering is the nation’s first, foremost and largest building material auction company in the USA. There are other building material auction houses that choose to ‘mimic’ Richard Peak and his style, right down to the cowboy hat. However, Richard has a huge long standing following of groupies and home improvement enthusiasts that have branded the PEAK name in the building material auction business.
