Peak at Home Celebrates Grand Opening!

Peak at Home, Peak Home Products flagship kitchen and bath showroom in Kansas City, Kansas, celebrated their Grand Opening February 11^th and 12^th! I could go on and on about the invitations, the wonderful food and the  people that attended, but I would be bragging and that’s not true to my character.

Yes, I designed a 3000 sq ft showroom. Complete with flooring displays, pendant lights, goo-gaas (this is what Mr. Peak calls the merchandising or accessories), paint colors, etc. However, that is all I did. I designed it.  I did not build it. Noah built an ark and he deserved the credit for his success at saving the animals two by two. Just as I did not build this wonderful website you are cruising about now. Charles Sanders built this website from a vision of a group of people.  Thus I believe that is what artists do: it is their craft. They can visualize the finished product based on the needs and desires of their clients. It’s important to not only hear what a client says, but to listen as well. Tom Ross at Alphagraphics did that for us on our fliers, product slicks and folders. Dave Root did that for us on our concrete countertop.  Clayton Bohm did that for us on our custom mosaic tile of our logo. Our general contractor, Greg Fredrick, did that in the showroom, brick by brick and wire by wire, wall by wall. All of these people and so many, many more that were involved in the development of our showroom. These people are artists in their own right. They are the ones that built it.

So to thank these artists and supporters, we had a grand open house. Bringing the best in the interior design and building industry together that Kansas City has to offer, letting them know their work and talent is appreciated. The next day we opened the doors to the public to show off their many talents. The response was overwhelming and now those people will tell two friends who will tell two friends and so on.
